Your Shape Fitness Evolved: Weak 2-3

*sigh* Yup you're reading that right, "Weak 2-3." I overdid it a bit and hurt myself. Not too terribly, but enough that I'm going to take a small break and then ease back in.

That said I did lose some weight. Checked my scale and I weighed in at 209lbs., so I lost 6lbs. At least I'm losing weight.

There's one exercise I think that's checking to see if you have rhythm and balance. I swear the "Tap Back, Tap Out" is trying to make me look extra uncoordinated.

So next week I hope to up and running again. 'Til then I'll just work on dieting.

  1. Oh no! Maybe you need more Zen. I can't wait to get home and get back into my Your Shape and Wii fit. The balance board is going to be so mad at me ...

  2. I'm looking into this as a fitness purchase for my Kinect. Does it seem like it will have enough staying power? I usually fizzle out of workout DVDs because they're so repetitive (like learning the lines in a kids movie but less funny) and Wii Fit 1 was so cumbersome without a workout move queue and not being able to incorporate equipment like 5lb weights. I guess I'm really hesitant on ponying up the money just yet, so I'm looking forward to hearing your experience as time goes on.

  4. After the new year rolls in I'm going to get very serious about this.

From what I've played so far it's easy to get into and there are some hints that weights will be involved at some point, though I have not hit that point yet.

With anything like this it's going to take some discipline from the person involved to stick to it. In my case the scale is motivating me, but the season (and family feasts) is making me do the opposite. I hope to be able to give a complete look at everything I do to try and get back down to my "fighting" weight.
